Cash on Delivery

How paying for your Lebseh order works — cash at the door, only after you've seen what's inside.

Lebseh Team · 3 min read

Cash on Delivery is how Lebseh works, end to end. No card, no upfront payment — you pay the driver in cash when your order arrives and you've seen what's inside.

What Cash on Delivery means

COD is exactly what it sounds like: you order online, we ship the package, and you hand cash to the courier at the door — only if you decide to keep it. The transaction happens in person, on your doorstep, on your terms.

How it works

  1. Browse and add to bag — no card details required at any point.
  2. Place your order with just an address and a phone number.
  3. We confirm the order with you by phone or message before dispatching it.
  4. Our courier hands the package to you at the agreed time.
  5. Open it on the spot, check the pieces, and pay in cash if you're happy. If not, refuse — nothing leaves your wallet.

Why we do it this way

Buying clothes online comes with a leap of faith — sizing, fabric, fit, photos that look different in person. Cash on delivery removes that risk.

  • See it before you pay. Try the fit at the door. Inspect the stitching. Hold the colour up to your wardrobe.
  • No payment data on the site. We don't collect, store, or process card numbers. Nothing to leak, nothing to misuse.
  • No chargeback drama, no refund waiting period. Refusing at delivery voids the order on the spot.

Before the courier arrives

  • Have your phone reachable — we call to confirm the order before dispatch, and the driver may call when nearby.
  • Bring exact cash if you can — drivers carry change for common denominations, but tight notes speed up the handover.
  • Be at the address, or send someone you trust who can accept and pay on your behalf.
  • If the timing needs to change, message us at [email protected] and we'll adjust.

Frequently asked

Do I pay for shipping if I refuse the order?

No. Refusing at the door voids the order entirely — you owe nothing, including shipping.

Can I pay for some items and refuse others?

Orders are accepted or refused as a whole. Drivers aren't set up to split orders on the spot, so pick-and-mix at the door isn't something we can support. If you want fewer items, place a smaller order.

What currency do you accept?

Jordanian Dinar (JOD) — the amount shown at checkout is exactly what you pay the driver. For international deliveries, our courier partner handles the local-currency conversion at the door.

Will the driver give me change?

Yes — our delivery partners carry change for standard denominations. Try to bring something close to the order total if you can.

Can I switch to card or another payment later?

Card payments aren't supported on the site yet. If we add them later, COD will stay available alongside — we're not phasing it out.
